Receptionist – Bury Farm Equestrian Centre

Bury Farm Equestrian Centre is a thriving compeon venue and livery yard based on the Beds/Bucks border. Hosting a wide range of equine events across several disciplines the show centre is renowned for its friendly and professional a!tude towards all of its patrons.

The centre’s busy schedule is managed in-house and we are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our exisng team. The successful candidate requires excellent communicaon skills, should be confident in managing customer calls, and be proficient in office IT packages including Word and Exel.

The new recruit should be cheerful and hardworking with high standards and an eye for detail. Ideally the candidate should have some experience in book-keeping and have an understanding of the XERO online accounting system. The Receptionist will report to the Group Financial Controller. Required key skills:



Recepon experience in an office-based environment
A flexible approach to broad-based tasks
Time management
People skills

Competent IT and telephone skills
Proven administrative proficiency

Desired skills:


Book-keeping and accounting experience
Knowledge of XERO accounting system

Working hours of Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00 are flexible and can be tailored to the successful applicant. This role carries the possibility for job-sharing across two candidates. Ideally the successful candidate should be available to commence employment by the last week of July.

Accounts Co-Ordinator – Bury Farm Equestrian Centre

Bury Farm Equestrian Centre is a thriving competition venue and livery yard based on the Beds/Bucks border. Hosting a wide range of equine events across several disciplines the show centre is renowned for its friendly and professional a!tude towards all of its patrons.

The centre forms part of the Interguide Management Group, a multi-business enterprise and we are seeking an experienced accounts co-ordinator to join our existing team. The successful candidate requires excellent book-keeping skills, should be confident in managing business accounts and invoicing, and should be willing to oversee all confidenal accounting procedures with integrity. The new recruit should be self-motivated with high standards and an eye for detail. Experience of the XERO accounting system is a pre-requisite for the role.

The Accounts Co-ordinator will report to the Group Financial Controller. A competitive salary and company benefits await the right candidate.

Required key skills:










Accounting experience in an office-based environment
Proven proficiency in XERO accounng system
Expert invoicing, journal posng, and account management
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Established Sales and Purchase Ledger-reconciliation skills
Confidence in data analysis and producing reports to management team
Capacity to monitor and collect debt on customer and supplier accounts
Time management
Ability to work on own iniave
People skills

 AAT qualificaon, 5 years Accounts Experience or similar
