Our Riding School is quite unique; we have horses available for the very beginner through to the advanced competition rider. We have a strict policy of not allowing any horse or pony to do more than a set number of lessons, keeping them fresh and interested in their work. All ponies and horses are privately owned. All horse & ponies come from different backgrounds previously & bring something different to the school to learn from. 95% of our lessons are taught on a one-to-one basis. We are BHS Approved.
All our horses & ponies are used in rotation to ensure they are turned out everyday with quality grazing, so they can relax, play, stretch and graze...
We offer lessons in flat work, show jumping, cross country, escorted hacking and general equine care & handling. We run regular Children’s Pony Days throughout the school holidays. They cover all aspects of equine handling, welfare and general management.
All clients undergo a 45 minute Introduction / Assessment to obtain an overview of their riding ability and also for the instructor to gain a sense of achievement our clients wish to aim for.
Specialised lessons are available – Stable Management, lunging, handling, clipping & grooming, etc.
